1. Who we are
Elite Sunbeds Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 45 702 167 913; ACN 702 167 913) operates this website. This policy explains our handling of personal information associated with enquiries, purchases, deliveries and after-sales support. We will meet the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to our business.
2. Information we collect and why
When you contact or purchase from us, we collect the information needed to assist you: your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, products selected, payment status and relevant correspondence. Delivery instructions help us arrange access. Model, article and serial numbers, proof of purchase and fault photographs help us assess service requests.
We use this information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, fulfil orders, coordinate freight, handle returns and warranties, maintain business records and investigate suspected misuse. We do not require medical histories or other sensitive health information. Please avoid sending it in enquiry or delivery notes.
General enquiries can be made without identifying yourself where practical. An order requires sufficient contact and delivery information to supply the goods. We also receive relevant transaction, delivery and service updates from our providers.
3. Website storage and payments
The website does not operate a shopping cart or collect online payments. Hosting and security services can process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages and device details to deliver and protect the site.
The enquiry form prepares a message in your email app. Your enquiry is sent only when you send that email. We use the details received to contact you about your enquiry. Payment is arranged separately through a payment platform provided by our team; please never send card numbers by email.
4. Sharing and overseas services
Information needed for an order or request can be shared with payment providers, carriers, hosting and communication providers, professional advisers, and Hapro or a service technician when manufacturer assistance is needed. We only share information relevant to that work, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law. We do not sell customer information.
Hapro is based in the Netherlands. A support request referred there may involve an overseas disclosure. The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting; payment and other technology providers can also process information overseas. Relevant processing countries are being confirmed as the remaining services are connected. We will update this policy with likely recipient countries where practicable and take any overseas-disclosure safeguards required by Australian law.
5. Security, retention and marketing
We will limit access to people who need the information for their work and use account access controls and protected service accounts. No online system is risk-free. We will assess suspected data breaches and notify affected people and regulators when legally required.
We retain information for the order, support, accounting and legal purposes for which it is needed, then securely delete or de-identify it when appropriate. Record types and retention periods will be confirmed before launch. Enquiring or ordering does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Any promotional messages will follow applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
6. Access, correction and complaints
You can request access to, or correction of, your information and raise a privacy complaint by emailing elitesunbedsAU@gmail.com or calling 0402 456 694. We may reasonably verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days and will explain any lawful refusal and available complaint options. There is no charge to make a request; any permitted access-processing charge will be explained in advance.
If you are dissatisfied, you can seek guidance or complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, where it has jurisdiction.
7. Updates
We will date changes on this page and explain material changes to how information is handled. A policy update does not retrospectively authorise a new use requiring your consent.
